USED CANOPUS / MMT-1455 Mel Taylor Model 14×5.5 Canopus Mel Taylor Snare Drum [08]

A snare drum modeled after Mel Taylor, drummer for The Ventures.

Featuring an 8-ply maple shell with a unique bearing edge, this exceptional instrument is based on the vintage Gretsch sound with added refinements.
With its tight, punchy attack and short sustain, as well as the clear, woody tone of the maple shell, this snare is a standout that suits a wide range of genres!

Although it was originally Silver Sparkle, it has yellowed overall due to discoloration.
Although there are some scratches and stains, the sound is unaffected, and it’s still fully playable.

This is a rare find on the used market!
