USED Fender USA / American Special Stratocaster Maple Fingerboard Olympic White Noiseless PU Mod [3.87 kg / Made in 2017]

Hot Noiseless Stratx3 Mod. This is a Fender USA American Special Stratocaster, part of a value-oriented series produced under the concept of “Bringing ‘Made in USA’ to More People.”

It features an alder body, a maple neck with a large headstock, jumbo frets, a volume/front tone/rear tone/5-way selector switch, a Greasebucket Tone Circuit to prevent high-end loss when the volume is turned down, and a vintage-style tremolo.

Although it’s among the more affordable models made at the Corona, California, factory in the USA, its tone and playability rival those of higher-end models, making it a guitar that boasts excellent playability and a wide range of sound variations.

The pickups have been replaced with three Fender Hot Noiseless Strats, and the pickguard assembly and nut have been replaced (original parts are not included). There are signs of wear (scratches, play marks, picking marks on the pickguard film, tarnish and pitting on metal parts and screws, and other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions; operation has been confirmed up to ±60°.
