USED Gibson USA / Les Paul Classic Premium Plus Honey Burst [4.36 kg / Manufactured in 1994]

A classic model featuring the 1960 Slim Grip, this guitar boasts a bold figure and is positioned as a higher-end model than the Plastop.

Unlike the Les Paul Standard, which featured modern specifications typical of the 1989–1990s era, this is a premium Plastop version of the Gibson Les Paul Classic—a model that gained popularity for its vintage-style Kluson tuners and nickel hardware.

It features a figured maple top with “LPPP” marked in marker inside the rear pickup cavity, a mahogany back, a mahogany neck, amber-colored position marks on the rosewood fingerboard, Bush-style Kluson tuners, an ABR bridge, and open-coil 496R and 500T pickups.

This model—which comes without a pickguard to showcase its beautiful grain—is sought after by many for its tight tone from the non-chambered body and slim grip.

The strap pins have been replaced, and a pickguard is not included. There are signs of wear (such as internal cracks in the knobs, warping of the pickup escutcheons, cracks in the binding at the fret tangs, scuffs, playing scratches, picking marks, and tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been tested to move 60° in both directions with no issues.
