発売から40年の歳月を経てもなお、名器として幾多のアーティストに愛用され続けている“L”の存在価値とは・・・ それは常に時代が求めるサウンドと演奏性を最高レベルで実現してきたからに他なりません。 日本にアコースティックギターの一時代をもたらし、時代とともに進化を続け、つねに奏者の思いに応え続けている。 それがLシリーズです。
スモールBODY・オールソリッド仕様で、TOPにイングルマン・スプルースを、SIDE/BACKにはローズウッドを採用。
TOP材には、独自の「A.R.E (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement)処理」が施されています。これにより長年弾き込まれたような豊かな鳴りを実現！！
ブレーシングは、従来と同様ノンスキャロップのXブレーシングで、今回のリニューアルではブレーシングを低くし形状も四角に変更されています。これによりXの交差ポイントがピッタリはまるのです！ さらに、表板と裏板のブレイスをつなぐサイドブレイスを追加することで、弦振動をより確実に裏 板に伝えてくれます！
NECKは、マホガニーとローズウッドの5ピース構造で、より反りやネジレなどに強い強度を実現！また、10フレット部で 1mm薄くする形状をとり、ハイポジションでの演奏性も向上させました！さらに、指板エッジ部を丸くカットすることにより、手に馴染むスムースな演奏性を 実現！ヘッド裏側にローズウッドの化粧板とボリュート加工を施し、ヘッド部の強化も実現しました！
新モデルでは、弦高・弦間ピッチも変更され、従来よりも6弦側をやや低く1弦側をやや高くし、さらに弦間ピッチは0.3mm広げられています。
Customモデルに採用されているNECK接合形状を採用。ダブテイル部分の深さをさらに4mm深くし、豊かなサスティーンを獲得してくれます！
BODY全体を石粉目止めのラッカー塗装にて仕上げられており、レスポンス・ダイナミクスが優れています！！また、豪華なアバロンインレイも高級感を醸し出しています！

YAMAHA Acoustic Guitar Flagship Model "L" Series, LS36ARE !
The L series is world-renowned as Yamaha's highest-priced acoustic guitars.
Even 40 years after its release, the "L" continues to be used by numerous artists as a masterpiece. The L series brought an era of acoustic guitars to Japan and continues to evolve with the times, always responding to the wishes of the players. That is the L Series.
Small body, all solid specs, Ingleman spruce on the top, rosewood on the side and back.
The top material is treated with our original "A.R.E (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement)" treatment. This gives it a rich sound as if it has been played for many years!
The bracing is the same non-scalloped X-bracing as before, but in this renewal, the bracing has been lowered and the shape has been changed to a square. This allows the intersection point of the X to fit perfectly! Furthermore, by adding side braces connecting the braces on the front and back plates, the string vibration is more reliably transmitted to the back plate!
The NECK is made of mahogany and rosewood in a 5-piece construction for greater strength against warping and twisting! In addition, the fretboard is 1mm thinner at the 10th fret to improve playability in the high position! Furthermore, the fingerboard edge has been rounded to achieve smooth playability that fits comfortably in the hand! The back side of the head has been treated with rosewood veneer and volute processing to strengthen the head section!
The string height and pitch between strings have also been changed on the new model, with the 6th string side slightly lower and the 1st string side slightly higher than before, and the pitch between strings has been widened by 0.3mm.
The neck joint shape used on the Custom model has been adopted. The dovetail section is 4mm deeper to obtain a rich sustain!
The entire BODY is finished with a stone-powder coated lacquer finish for excellent response and dynamics! The gorgeous Avalon inlays also give the instrument a luxurious feel!
