YAMAHA / LS16 ARE Natural (NT) [09]

Featuring a small body and an all-solid construction, this guitar features an Engelmann spruce top and rosewood sides and back.
The top wood has undergone our proprietary “A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement)” treatment, previously used on high-end models in the L Series (such as the LL26 and LL36). This achieves a rich tone reminiscent of a guitar that’s been played for many years!!
The neck is shaped to be 1 mm thinner at the 10th fret, improving playability in the higher positions! Furthermore, the rounded edges of the fingerboard ensure a smooth playing experience that fits comfortably in your hand!
In this new model, the string action and string spacing have also been adjusted: the 6th string is set slightly lower and the 1st string slightly higher than before, and the string spacing has been widened by 0.3 mm.
This new model is equipped with a “passive pickup,” allowing you to plug it directly into an amp. (Cable sold separately.)
The pickup uses the same piezo element as the SRT pickups found in electro-acoustic guitars like the APX and CPX. It offers excellent response and ample output!
