USED Gibson / Thunderbird IV Vintage Sunburst, manufactured in 1995 [09]

A flagship model in the Gibson bass lineup, named after the sacred “divine bird” from Native American folklore.
The body is mahogany, the neck is a through-neck design made of mahogany and walnut, and the fingerboard is ebony.

The rear volume pot has been replaced, and the frets have been dressed. It appears that the other pots have also been replaced at some point.
The strap pins have been replaced with a dual-design type. However, the lock pin on the opposite side is missing.
There are cracks in the finish at the junction between the body and the neck on the upper left side of the body, as well as at the junction between the body end and the neck; a step can be felt when touched.
The headstock has numerous scratches, dents, and areas of peeling finish; there are cracks in the finish and a noticeable step at the junction between the back of the neck and the fingerboard; and there is peeling finish on the side of the fingerboard near the 16th fret on the G-string side.
There are scratches and dents on the body; paint is peeling near the control panel on the back of the body; and there is a screw hole on the upper-left side of the body that appears to be for a strap pin.
There is a chip on the pointed edge beneath the pickguard; the pickup cover has scratches that appear to be from strings; and the metal parts show some tarnish and pitting.
There are other signs of wear and tarnish, but the overall condition is good.
