USED Gibson / Hummingbird Cherry Sunburst, manufactured in 1976 [09]

The Hummingbird, introduced in 1960 as Gibson's first square-shoulder model.
This particular instrument was made in 1976 at the Kalamazoo factory, with a spruce top and mahogany sides and back.

It has undergone refretting, fingerboard correction, and neck straightening.
There are scratches and paint peeling on the headstock. A step has formed at the junction between the neck binding and the neck, as well as along the area where the neck wood appears to have been joined—extending from the back of the headstock to the back of the neck. Additionally, there is paint damage on the back of the neck that appears to be caused by a stand.
The body has scratches and dents throughout; the top has warped, and there are numerous vertical cracks in the finish near the pickguard and near the body’s end.
The pickguard shows playing scratches and puncture-like marks, and the metal hardware exhibits tarnish and pitting.
There is some other scuffing and dulling, but the overall condition is good.
