This model is reminiscent of prewar D-28 with long saddle, herringbone trim, tortoiseshell pickguard, and forward-shifted scalloped X bracing! The neck grip is V-shaped, giving it a vintage feel in playability.

There are scratches, dents, and clear peeling on the body. Pickguard has some fine and thin picking scratches. There are large and small dents on the bottom center of the body top. There is a fingertip sized burn on the upper left part of the body top. It is thought to be the remains of the binding repair described below. There is some clear peeling and lifting on the top of the bridge. There are some binding peeling repair marks on the right side of the top of the body and on the waist area on both sides of the back. There are also traces of glue that was poured, clear peeling, and floating around these areas. There is a little bump on the binding at the left neck of the top of the body. There are about 7 cm long scratches on both sides of the body, centering on the jack at the body side end. The heel of the neck joint has a gap that has been filled, and a strap pin has been struck. There are scratches and small dents scattered around the perimeter of the body back. There is also a linear scratch of about 5cm on the lower center of the body back. There is a small pea-sized ding at the center of the back of the neck on the 5th floor, and a little finger-sized burn on the bottom of the ding. There is also a pea-sized ding on the back of the 4th string on the 6th floor. The back of the neck is shiny from use. The top and back of the head has some paint burns from clip tuners and capos still attached. The lower part of the saddle has been removed to adjust the height of the saddle, and there is an endpin jack. There is also a piezo still in place under the saddle, but it cannot be repaired as the wires have been cut with great force. The saddle also has string marks on each string, possibly due to misalignment, and there is a gap in the bridge saddle slit, which allows the saddle to move laterally when the strings are loosened.

The neck is in generally good condition, and there are no string marks on the frets. The truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned to tighten and adjust. The remaining frets are about 60-70%. The current string height is 2.2mm on the 12F 6th string side and 1.8mm on the 1st string side. The saddle height is quite low and difficult to adjust here.

Overall, there are some bold repair marks, but there are few noticeable signs of use. This is a recommended one that not only has a great sound, but also enjoys the antique vintage toner coloring and herringbone looks as well!
