USED Fender USA / Rarities Flame Maple Top Stratocaster Golden Brown [10]

Strat with rosewood neck & flame maple top with Kodawari!

Starting in 2019, the RARITIES collection is produced in limited quantities from carefully selected rare and valuable woods.
Body is 2pcs Alder center, with beautiful flame maple for a luxurious feel. The coating is urethane. Neck is rosewood with urethane satin finish. Fingerboard is flame maple. Fingerboard surface is compound radiused from 9" to 14". The fret size is Narrow Tall.
The single coil is equipped with "Pure Vintage '65 Gray-Bottom Single-Coil Strat". Rear humbuckers are equipped with "Custom Double Tap", and the rear PU can be coil-tapped by pressing the S-1 switch at the tip of the Vol knob. The tremolo is a 2-point support type, and the saddle is a traditional press type. The tremolo arm is a pop-in type.

The body has wipe scratches, scuffs, and dents. The pickguard still has the factory protective tape on it. There are small hit scratches around the jack plate. There is a small scratch on the lower right side of the tremolo where the edge of the tremolo hit the body, and a scratch on the lower left side of the body side. The neck joint, back of the horn on the 6th string side, and the lower back of the body appear to have a light cloud of white. This is probably due to the fact that another model in the same series has similar symptoms. In fact, it is not so noticeable due to the great looks. There are no noticeable signs of use, except for a few spots on the hardware.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned to tighten and adjust. There are no string marks on the frets and about 90% of the strings are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, it is in good condition with no noticeable signs of use. The body date was made in 2018. Despite being a regular line model, the material and finish are quintessential, approaching custom store grade. The rear PU is modest in DC resistance and has a vintage look despite the SSH. The neck is modern, but the frets are Narrow Tall, making it a truly hybrid finish. This is one of those rare instruments that are rarely seen in the market. It may be good for your collection!
