USED Fender Japan / JB62-US MOD Old Candy Apple Red 2007-2010 [10]

FENDER JAPAN 2007-2010 JB62-US, Hipshot-BASS XTENDER KEY & B3P-PG/Modify, Color:OCR(Old Candy Apple Red), S#:T082830

This is a Fender Japan Jazz Bass JB62-US, Old Candy Apple Red color, manufactured around 2009 based on the following characteristics!
Stamp on the body side neck pocket: 09.8.31
Handwritten on body side neck pocket: JB62 OCR
(The solder marks on the control assembly show no signs of being tampered with, so the pickups are considered to be original spec USA VINTAGE JAZZ BASS PICKUPS.)
Serial number: MADE IN JAPAN T082830 (corresponds to the serial form used from around 2007 to 2010).

There are some scratches and dents on the body, and there are some dents on the headstock as well, but they are not unsightly and can be counted if you try your best. You may not feel any signs of rough treatment! There are some scratches mainly on the back of the body, but please be assured that they are not severe buckling scratches, but rather gentle linear scratches!

The pickguard has been replaced with a black 3-ply, but there is no modification to the body as it seems to have been mounted with genuine FJ PG or FJ-compatible replacement parts at that time. Also, there are some scratches on the 3PLY-Black Pickguard, but they may be noticeable because of the glossy black surface of the PG.
The strap button is a Schaller security lock strap button, which was also the mainstream at that time. (The strap side mounting parts are missing.)

The fourth string has been upgraded and replaced with an extender key (Hipshot BT-2 N), an invention by Hipshot, which is highly regarded by experts!
The Hipshot Extender Bass Peg is an invention of innovative structure and function that allows for simple action while playing, despite its mechanical construction! (When set to 4-string E, the down pitch can be set to adjust from about E♭ to a maximum around Low C.)
The low-down pitch function is used by professional players for different purposes, so there is already a modification on the standby for professional players!

As for the playing condition, please be assured that the instrument has undergone maintenance and overall setup work and cleaning at our repair center, including condition checks and adjustments of major parts and necessary work, as well as inspections and adjustments of various other parts.

So, it is in good playing and working condition!

Truss rod has room to spare
