Gold top '72 Deluxe with full of dignity!

The body has the familiar pancake structure with greenish-blue on the bridge side PU and the left side of the body. The left neck on the back of the body has some paint peeling, which is an example of aging, giving it a cool impression.

The neck is made of 3pcs mahogany and has a large head like this period. The back of the neck has been stripped of its clear finish, and the remaining areas show signs of over-lacquering. The pegs installed have been replaced by Schaller M6 and current Gibson Deluxe replacement parts from the original in the past. There is no problem with tuning, although there is some rattling. There is a crack on the back of the head that relays the 4th, 5th, and 6th string pegs, but it is minor and the gap has been glued. The nut has been replaced and the frets are original but a little low. The frets are original but a little low, which is not a problem for vintage players.

PU is original mini hum. PU cover has "Gibson" logo stamped on it, which can be seen around 71-72, and plastic rings around both escutcheons are original. The bridge side PU cover has been removed once. There is a crack on the side of the mounting screw on the bridge PU side due to tightening, but it is not a problem for operation. The sound is currently a phase out sound at the center position, and the rear PU magnet seems to have been turned over. The tone pot on the neck side is dated '72, and the other pots are the same as the original. The capacitor is an original Black Beauty.

The bridge has been replaced from ABR-1 to Nashville Tune-o-matic, and the tailpiece has been replaced. The tailpiece has also been replaced. The pegs were pulled out here as well.... The jack plate has been replaced with a handmade one. The reflector on the bridge side tone knob is missing. The pickguard bracket and toggle switch knob have also been replaced. The strap pin attachment screw on the neck side has also been changed to negative.

The neck condition is fine, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned and adjusted in the direction to tighten. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and there is about 30-40% remaining. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

Although there are some signs of use and aging, and the pegs, bridge, and tailpiece have been replaced, this is a Deluxe's most popular gold top. Still, the cool green-blue color will put a toe in the hearts of fans! The center phase-out sound is perfect for cutting, and if you put it on the front, you get an edgy mini-ham sound, making it a guitar that can be used in a roundabout way.
