So-called "New Yorker" with 12F joint, body size and slotted head produced since 1961!
The body size is a small "0" size, about 5mm thicker than a 00 or 000, which gives the guitar sufficient volume and flavor. Spruce top with mahogany sides and back. Neck is mahogany, scale is 632mm, nut width is 47.7mm, and the neck shape is thicker with the nut width, and the 12F joint and the thickness of the body give enough low frequency. The nut and saddle have been replaced. The saddle and bridge pins have been replaced as well.

There is a crack of about 5cm on the right side of the body, which has been patched on the back side. There is also a crack on the center ply of the top of the body from the bridge to the end of the body, which has been patched as on the side. The entire body has been over-lacquered. The top of the body has the usual top distortion, with the front part of the bridge sunken and the rear part bulging, resulting in a slight forward tilt of the bridge.
There are weather cracks radiating from the soundhole and bridge. There is clear peeling on the lower right edge of the top of the body, and the lower right edge of the body back has peeling paint with chips in the wood. The outer edge of the body back has paint peeling and scratches. The back of the neck has some paint peeling from use, and there are scratches around the head. There are finger marks on the fingerboard in the low position.

The neck is in good condition. The truss rod is SQ, so it is not adjustable. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and about 70% of the strings are left. The current string height is adjusted at about 2.5mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 2.0mm on the 1st string side. The saddle height is low and there is no room for adjustment here.

Overall, there are the usual deformations of the top, crack repairs and associated over-lacquering, but the neck is currently in good condition and playability is ensured. Although the nut width is a little wide, the slotted head and 12F joints give it a more than adequate sound, and the low frequency range, which is a concern, is also strong, so this model is not to be underestimated! This is one you should definitely try!
