This fretless jazz bass is an icon of Jaco Pastorius.
Alder body finished in sunburst color and lacquered, pickguard-less, slightly thick C-shaped maple neck with dot inlays, slab-applied Pau Ferro fingerboard with fret lines, and matte urethane coating for smooth fingering. The fingerboard is coated with matte urethane for smooth fingering.

The American Vintage Jazz Bass pickups are mounted on the fretless bass, and when the front volume and tone are lightly turned down, you can enjoy "that" sound.

There are some scratches on the body, some fingernail marks near the pickups, dings on the head, and some string marks on the fingerboard, but there is relatively little damage that stands out at a glance.

Neck condition: No major problems at present.
Truss rod can be adjusted in both directions.
