USED Gretsch / G6136TSL Silver Falcon 2006 [10]

This is a nice 2006 Silver Falcon in stock!

Based on the White Falcon, the Silver Falcon has a black body with silver parts and binding.
The body is laminated maple top, sides and back. The body size is 17 inches and the body thickness is 2.75 inches, giving it a big Gretsch-like body. The neck is also maple, and the fingerboard is ebony. The scale is 25.5" and the fretboard surface is 12". the PU is a Filter-Tron, and it is in the style of the 1959 model with trestle bracing, neo-classic position markers, and Bigsby B6GB. The bridge has been changed from a space controller type to an ABR-1 type, and the pickguard mounting screws have also been changed. The strap pins have also been replaced with Schaller locking pins.

There are scratches, scuffs, and dings on the body. There are scratches around the bridge from the movement of the bridge. There are scratches and small dents on the outer edge of the top of the body. There are some light scratches on the upper right and left sides of the body. There are also dents, scratches, and line scratches around the jack. The center of the body back has buckle scratches and scuffs, and there are scratches, line scratches, and light fogging around the outer edge of the body. The back of the neck has fine scratches all over, and the back of the head is dotted with dents the size of a grain of rice, and there are line scratches around the back of the nut. There is also a small scratch on the tip of the back of the head. There are scratches on the bottom of the tailpiece from turning the arm tip, and the PU cover and bridge are cloudy. Other hardware is in good working order, although there is some deterioration of the plating and some smudging.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the tightening or loosening direction, and can still be turned and adjusted in the tightening direction. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and about 90% of the frets are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 4th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, due to the color of the body, scratches and scuffs are inevitably noticeable, but there is no major damage that stands out and it is in good condition. It has a very cool, masculine and austere look, while still maintaining the high class feel of a Falcon! The bracing is a '59 style trestle bracing, which is also used on the KENNY FALCON and Brian Setzer models, and while it is traditional, the fact that it can also be driven and used to create a modern sound cannot be overlooked!
