The body is 2pcs Alder center, and the neck is plain Maple with 7.25" fingerboard radius and narrow vintage type frets. JM also loves 63ST, but this is relatively thin 60 style C shape.

The PU is the original "Master Grade 60s PU" which is the basis of its name. DC resistance is about 6.2k, 6.2k, and 6.1k from the neck side for vintage tone. The pot date is not visible due to solder, but all other parts were made in 2001.

The body has wipe scratches, scuffs, and dings. There are some minor picking scratches on the pickguard. The body has a greenish tint to it, and the clear color has turned amber with age. There is a sesame-sized ding on the left side of the bridge, a small ding on the side of the jack (about the size of a needle hole), and a ding on the outer side of the horn on the 6th string side. There is also a small ding on the inside of the 1st string cutaway horn. There is a small ding on the lower left edge of the back of the body, and there are also some small dings and scratches around the back panel. The back of the neck is semi-glossy in its original state, but has some shiny patina due to use. The rubber for PU height adjustment has been replaced by a spring. There are some solder marks on the top of the headstock to prevent noise. There are some scratches on the hardware, but there are no noticeable signs of use.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned to tighten and adjust. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and about 70% of the strings are left. The current string height is about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, there are only minor dents and no noticeable signs of use, and considering its age, it is in relatively good condition.
Why is it master grade when it was made in 2002? You may think, "Why Master Grade?" However, the model with Master Grade PU was shipped as Master Grade with MGN serial number to hide the name, which could not be used due to adult circumstances. I remember it well because I was a stockist at that time. The body date is 01 and the neck date is 2002 with a proper stamp. The body date is 01, and the neck date is stamped 2002. However, the certificate of authenticity says it was made in 2000, but I don't know why. According to my own information route, it was definitely shipped in 2002, and there could have been many dates on the certificate.... I guess I made a mistake. However, the sound is light and still good! It is also in good condition with few signs of use, and is recommended for those who want to be particular about the sound!
