There are two types of 335s made by the current Custom Shop, the '59 type and the '64 type, but this one is a '61 type with intermediate specs between the two.
The center block is not a drilled hole center block, but a 64 type with the first string side part hollowed out.
The neck shape is 60s style slim taper, and the PU is the original combination of Burstbucker 1&2. It also features double-ring Crusons and Bumblebees, a normal pickguard (not long), and reflector-type knobs.

The body has wipe scratches, scuffs, line scratches, and dings. The pickguard has some minor picking scratches. There is a small chemical reaction mark on the side of the jack, but it is only visible in the light. It may have been left behind when the contacts were cleaned. There is a faint line scratch on the right side of the top of the body. There are minor scratches and dents around the outer circumference of the body top, and there is a line scratch on the lower part of the PU on the neck side. The lower right side of the body is also dotted with scratches. There is a buckle scratch in the center of the body back and scratches all around the perimeter. The back of the neck has some minor dents and scratches, and there is a scratch on the lower back of the neck. Each hardware has some VOS effects and some scuffs from use, but the atmosphere is good.

The neck condition is fine, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the direction of tightening or loosening, and can still be turned and adjusted, although less in the direction of tightening. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and about 80% of the frets are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, there are some minor signs of use, but there is no noticeable damage and the condition is commensurate with its age. The neck shape is quite thin, so if you are looking for a vintage style model with dot position marks and a thin neck, this one is highly recommended. The center block shape also gives it a solid boxy feel!
