The coveted gold top of the 2004 60s Les Paul Standard with 60s style thin neck!

The "50s" and "60s" Les Paul Standards were introduced in 2002. The difference is the neck shape, "Fat 50s Style" with thicker and round shape and "Fast 60s Style" with thinner neck, and this is the 60s model. It features a maple top, 1pcs mahogany back, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard, and is equipped with the original Alnico V "Burstbucker Pro" PU. The cutaway has straight binding and Cruson-type push-in tuners, and the vintage style is still popular today.

There are wipe scratches, scuffs, and dents on the body. The pickguard has some minor picking scratches, and there is a crack at the tip of the pickguard due to tightening. There are minor scratches around each knob and selector switch. There is a small peel of paint on the side of the thumb nut on the first string side of the bridge where a tool was applied. There are small dents and scratches around the lower perimeter of the body top. There is some paint burn on the side of the jack plate on the body side, which was burned by the shield. There is a crack on the binding of the lower left side of the body due to aging. There are dents, scratches, and scuffs on the body side. The right side of the body back has some bumps and buckle scratches, and the lower left edge of the body has peeling paint. There is also a faint trace of solvent that may have been used to clean the contact points. There is a scratch on the upper right part of the head top. The jack plate has a crack from being tightened, and the rear tone knob has a crack on the inside. Each piece of hardware has some scratches, but the tone is in good condition.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen. There are no string marks on the frets and about 80% of the frets are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 6th string (12F) and about 1.5mm on the 1st string (12F).

Overall, there are scratches, dents, and buckle marks, but they are commensurate with the age of the instrument. There are no major noticeable damage, and the damage does not destroy the Les Paul-like atmosphere. The body back is 1pcs, which is still in accordance with vintage manner, while the current model and later "50s" and "60s" Les Paul Standard have 2pcs in the center. The model is based on Burstbucker, but potted with Alnico V magnets to reproduce the hot vintage tone. No wonder they are still so popular! The gold top and thin neck model is very rare! Don't delay!
