70s Flying V with broken neck corrected & refinished!

The neck break was treated with a larger volute and refinished at that time. It was refinished with a cherry color, probably to make it a medallion.
The serial number was lost during the refinishing process, so we cannot determine the year, but the pot date and other features suggest that it was made in 1975-76.

The neck is 3pcs mahogany, the head angle is 14 degrees, and the nut width is about 39mm. Nut and frets have been replaced. The front PU is equipped with the original engraved numbered PU. The cover has been replaced with one with "Gibson" relief. Rear PU has been replaced with a numbered decal one, and the relief is reversed. Each pot has the same atmosphere, although some of the dates were not readable due to solder, and the date is '75. There is a hole on the pickguard that suggests that the guitar has been modified in the past, and there are traces of a jack position change and a mini switch.

There is a paint chip on the tailpiece anchor on the first string side. There are cracks on the pickguard by each pickguard mounthread due to tightening due to aging, and the tip of the jack is partially missing. The truss rod cover also shows the same symptoms. There is a paint crack on the 6th string side of the nut. There are some deterioration of the plating and some smudges on the hardware.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen. There are no string marks on the frets and about 50-60% of the strings are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted to about 2.0mm on the 6th string (12F) and about 1.5mm on the 1st string (12F).

Overall, the neck breakage has been corrected, refinished, and the PU has been replaced, but playability has been ensured, which is reflected in the price. The sound has a flexible 70s mid, and the unique nut width is a great way to enjoy the soaring 70s Flying V sound at a very reasonable price!
