The serial number indicates that it was made in 1980. The font was also a little different from the other pieces of the same period, but this specification was also available. The neck side PU cavity has a stamp "LS80OCS", but it was made in the Showa era, and the body back is 2pcs center, and the neck has a good amount of meat.

The frets and nut have been replaced, and the engraving on the end of the fingerboard is faded and unreadable due to the fret replacement. The DC resistance is vintage type, about 7.5k and 7.6k from the neck side. The original wiring is the foundation wiring, but it has been replaced with hand-wired type, Pot (*Japanese type) and capacitor (*Bumble Bee type). The finish is poly, but some of our senior players say, "The color is different from back then! The back has clear paint on top of peeling paint, so we judge it as refinished.

The body has scratches, scuffs, dings, and peeling paint. The pickguard has picking scratches with an overall cloudy look. The lower right portion of the bridge is dotted with dings the size of a grain of rice, and the lower edge of the body top is scratched. There is also a toe-shaped ding on the side of the bridge thumb nut on the first string side. Large and small dents are scattered around the lower part of the body side. There are some large and small dents scattered around the perimeter of the body back, and the paint has been peeled off. There is a minor paint peel on the back of the head at the tip of the first string, and a pea-sized ding between the third and fourth string pegs. The top of the head is generally lightly whitish, and there is a ding on the lower left edge that is the size of a grain of rice. The chip on the fourth string of the nut has been glued back together. There is a crack on the front Vol knob, but it is not a problem for use. The hardware is in good condition for its age, and the pegs on the 3rd, 5th, and 6th strings are bent, but not in any way that would affect its use.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and about 60% of the frets are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, there are some signs of use, refinishing, PU replacement, etc., but the price is in line with the original. How about this one as a nostalgic piece of guitar from back in the day?
