Other: A 2014 Custom Shop (CTM) HD-28 has arrived.It features exceptional Custom Shop-grade materials: Sitka spruce for the soundboard (top), Guatemalan rosewood for the sides and back, mahogany for the neck (specs from that era clearly listed it as mahogany), and deep, rich ebony for the fingerboard and bridge.Additionally, the bracing features a rear-shifted, scalloped X-brace design. Guatemalan rosewood is known for its rich, substantial depth and a resonant acoustic character. Therefore, when combined with the scalloped bracing structure of the Sitka spruce top, it may produce a distinctive tone in the high-frequency range that sets it apart from standard models in this price range.Furthermore, this is a ready-to-play instrument that has undergone professional repairs, including minimal fret leveling and the installation of a new, unbleached cowbone nut.
