Fortin AmplificationとMeshuggahのコラボレーションによって生まれた「Meshuggah Distortion Pre?Amp」は、彼らの象徴的なBlackoutアンプのトーン／フィールを忠実に再現するプリアンプペダルです。二つのゲインチャンネル(CH1ではGain1＋Gain2、CH2ではGain2のみ)、HI／LO切替でモダンな高ゲイン域から生のヴィンテージサウンドまで自在に調整可能。アクティブ3バンドEQ(Bass/Mid/Treble)やMVCマスターボリュームを備え、10種類以上の音色バリエーションを実現。内部にはFortin標準のZuulノイズゲートを搭載し、リレーベースのトゥルーバイパスと9VDCセンターマイナス仕様の電源供給で信頼性も高く、重厚で抜けの良いメタルサウンドをコンパクトな筐体に凝縮しています。

The Meshuggah Distortion Pre?Amp, a collaboration between Fortin Amplification and Meshuggah, is a preamp pedal that faithfully reproduces the tone/feel of their iconic Blackout amplifier. Two gain channels (Gain 1 + Gain 2 on CH1, Gain 2 only on CH2) and HI/LO switching allow you to freely adjust from a modern high-gain range to a raw vintage sound. Active 3-band EQ (Bass/Mid/Treble) and MVC master volume provide more than 10 different tone variations. Inside is a Fortin-standard Zuul noise gate, with relay-based true bypass and 9VDC center-minus power supply for reliability, and a massive, clean metal sound condensed into a compact chassis.
It has a slight feeling of use, but there are no problems with operation.
