We've just received a 1973 Fender Jaguar!
Based on the serial number and pot date, this guitar is believed to be a 1973 model.
The Stackpole pots bear the pot date “3047337,” confirming they were manufactured in week 37 of 1973, so we’ve determined they are original parts.
With the exception of the saddle set, tremolo arm, and nut, the guitar retains its original parts, allowing you to experience the thick, rich, and distinctive sound unique to vintage Jaguars.
Its presence, honed over more than 50 years, is truly remarkable. Features such as the fine, subtle weather checking and the clear coat peeling off in large patches on the back of the neck are signs of aging found only on instruments of this era.
It comes with the original bridge cover and mute system, and, surprisingly, even the original cloth bag (unopened) and the “Instruction Manual for Jaguar” from that era have been preserved, making this a truly valuable instrument that tells a story of its history.
It also comes with a package of genuine replacement tuning pegs, likely from the same era; while it’s difficult to tell from the exterior, the tuning pegs may have been replaced.
Although it has undergone some modifications, this guitar retains many original parts and, above all, comes with these rare accessories. Please take this opportunity to purchase it!
