A beautiful 2025 Custom Shop Jazzmaster with matching headstock has arrived!
We’ve received a Fender Custom Shop 1962 Jazzmaster that’s in pristine condition with no signs of heavy use.
Despite its three-color sunburst finish, the headstock color matches the spec, giving it a truly rare and special presence.
The original pickguard specification listed on the spec sheet is PGA: JAMASTER 4PLY SH NIT (Pickguard: Jazzmaster, 4-ply, Tortoiseshell, Nitrocell), but it has been replaced with a 3-ply mint green pickguard designed for the USA size (it fits so perfectly that it likely feels like a genuine Fender USA part; however, there are some polishing marks from maintenance).
However, the original tortoiseshell pickguard is also included.
That pickguard still has the protective sticker from when it was new and shows no signs of play, so it may have been swapped out when the guitar was purchased new.
As for the overall condition, while there are some polishing marks from maintenance, they are minimal, and there are no signs of excessive play or heavy use; it appears to be in clean, excellent condition.
