We’re offering this high-quality Canadian-made Godin archtop at a great price! The “5th Avenue CW Kingpin II” with a cognac burst finish—featuring two P-90-style pickups and a cutaway design—has just arrived!

The body top and back feature "Wild Cherry," which combines the mellow tones of mahogany with the bright tones of maple. The neck is crafted from "Silver Leaf Maple," which offers the sound character of high-quality mahogany.The fingerboard is rosewood with a 16-inch radius, giving it a flat feel. It is equipped with Godin’s original Kingpin P90 single-coil pickups. The scale length is 630.9 mm (approximately medium scale), and the nut width is 43.7 mm.

There is a small burnish mark next to the side jack on the body. The upper right edge of the body back has scattered minor scuff marks. There is also a burnish mark on the lower right edge of the body back. The headstock top has linear scratches and scuffs caused by the string tips. The logo on the neck-side pickup has partially worn away due to picking. The nickel parts, such as the tuners, show some tarnish.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted both tighter and looser. There are no noticeable string marks on the frets, and about 80% of the original frets remain. The current string height is approximately 2.0 mm on the 6th string side and 1.5 mm on the 1st string side at the 12th fret, set with D'Addario EXL-110 strings.

Overall, while there are minor signs of use, the satin finish helps conceal any noticeable damage, and the guitar is in good condition.
The sound is rich and full-bodied, yet with a sparkling edge, creating a three-dimensional tone that never feels muddy. The unamplified sound, true to Godin’s reputation, is pleasant—though not overly loud—making it perfect for casual strumming in your room. While the presence of the bridge pickup slightly dampens the natural resonance, it also reduces the risk of feedback. It handles a mature, bluesy tone beautifully, and the cutting sound is fantastic too! Our staff are thoroughly impressed with this instrument!
