1990 Sadowski Ultra Vintage S, Made in NYC Workshop, Now in Stock

We have received a Sadowsky NYC Ultra Vintage S, a model rarely found on the secondhand market.
This is an early model manufactured at the New York Atelier in 1990, featuring a three-digit serial number.
We are including the certificate of authenticity, warranty manual, and control manual—all of which are extremely rare to find today.

Cosmetic Condition
・There are minor dents and scratches on the headstock, the neck grip near the 11th fret, and the body; however, considering it is 36 years old, this instrument is in exceptionally beautiful condition.
・The nickel-plated metal parts show some tarnish and early signs of rust, but the satin and chrome parts retain a clean appearance.
・There are scratches on the pickguard and pickups from strumming, and the shape of the pickup bobbins shows slight distortion likely caused by picks; however, this is within an acceptable range for serious users familiar with used and vintage instruments.
・There are age-related cracks at the corners of the tremolo back panel and slight peeling of the anodized finish on the aluminum control knobs; however, given the nature of these original parts, we hope you won’t let this bother you and will continue to enjoy using the guitar.
・The slight staining on the fingerboard gives it a professional, cool look. Also, the finish is starting to crack due to age, which adds to its cool appeal.
Main Specifications and Materials
・Body: A lightweight, two-piece ash body with a combination of flamed and figured grain. (Marked on neck pocket: 7-90 N.I)
・Neck: A one-piece maple neck favored by serious players with a connoisseur’s eye. (Marked on the neck end: 900451 SAD)
・Pickups: Made by Joe Barden (Joe Barden Pickups). No model name is marked on the back. DC resistance values for each pickup in passive mode: Neck pickup: 4.72K, Middle pickup: 4.98K, Bridge pickup: 5.34K
・Controls: Master volume, midrange boost control, master tone; preamp brand: difficult to identify due to insulation covering.
・Mini toggle switch: Up – Passive mode; Middle – Midrange boost (active); Down – Midrange boost & gain setting (gain setting: mini trim pot inside the tremolo back panel)

Overall Condition
There are scattered signs of wear on the frets, but since this is not severe wear and only minor in nature, we recommend waiting until the wear is more significant before seeking repairs. (A data sheet from a previous PLEX treatment is included. Additionally, there is a signature reading “July 13, 94 Inner Wood” on the underside of the neck joint.)
Control Assembly: There are no signs of tampering or irregularities in the solder work, so it is in original, “solder-virgin” condition, including the pickups. (Pot date: 1379021)
