Features a 10-ply North American maple shell combined with 6-ply reinforcement.
Combining a well-defined attack with rich mid-to-low frequencies, this is DW’s flagship maple snare, suitable for a wide range of genres from rock and pop to funk and jazz.
This model dates back to the Gold Badge era of 2005 and features the traditional ply construction used prior to the current SSC shells.
You can enjoy a powerful, straight attack and the rich tone unique to maple that has developed over many years of aging.

The batter head has been replaced with an EVANS head.
Due to use and aging, there is some slight warping in the shell, and the metal parts show minor scratches and rust; however, this does not affect playability or tuning.
