"KZ Guitar Works" is renowned for its world-class craftsmanship and for producing faithful replicas of Brian May’s iconic “Red Special.”
This instrument represents KZ Guitar’s reexamination of tradition, refined for the modern era through their unique ideas and craftsmanship.
Both the body and neck are crafted from Honduran mahogany, delivering a cohesive string vibration.
Although it features a humbucker configuration, the 5-way switch allows for coil-tap sounds with simple operation, enabling a wide range of tone shaping to suit various situations in today’s music scene.
Also worth noting is the proprietary “RS-Joint,” a three-point neck joint inspired by and paying homage to the Red Special’s construction.
It delivers a unique sound and playing feel that cannot be found on any other guitar.
Packed with meticulous attention to detail—including a 635mm scale length, a BLACK TUSQ nut, and locking tuners—this guitar also impresses with its exceptional playability.
There are some paint chips near the body-edge jack, on the contoured top of the body, and on the top of the headstock, as well as dents on the back of the neck and headstock, and some tarnish on the metal parts; however, the guitar is otherwise in clean condition.
