A 2013 Fender Japan AST-M/SSH Aerodyne GMB has arrived!
This is Fender Japan’s unique Aerodyne Stratocaster, featuring a gently rounded top and body binding. The deep Gun Metal Blue body is paired with a matching headstock and black hardware, creating a sharp, cohesive look.
It features a basswood body paired with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, along with a 628mm medium scale and a 40mm-wide nut. This combination allows for compact fingering and a light string action, making chord stretches and bends smooth and effortless.
The pickup configuration is SSH. You can switch between the bright, crisp tone characteristic of single-coil pickups and the thick, punchy drive sound produced by the rear humbucker; the 5-way switch and simple controls allow for intuitive tone selection.
While there are signs of age-appropriate wear—such as tarnish on metal parts, dents on the body sides, and scratches—the guitar has been cleaned and set up and is in pristine condition.
