Based on the modern hybrid drum concept pioneered by Pearl in the Reference series, this snare drum from the Reference One series has been further evolved to deliver the ideal performance for drummers.

The snare drum features a relatively thin 6-ply (5.4mm thick) maple and birch composite shell.
It is equipped with specifications suited for today’s music scene, including MasterCast hoops that tighten the sound and bring out the shell’s characteristics more clearly; Single Swivel Lugs, which minimize contact with the shell to maximize the drum’s resonance; and a Glide-Lock strainer that fully locks the snare in the “ON” position.
It delivers a high-quality snare sound characterized by a crisp attack, warm sustain, and a pleasant response.

Although there are some minor scratches on the metal parts, such as the hoops, it is in excellent condition with minimal signs of use.
