The fingerboard and bridge are made of solid striped ebony.
Additionally, the inclusion of high-end Waverly slotted open-gear tuning pegs is now a feature exclusive to the early production runs.
(Following minor changes to the aforementioned materials and tuning pegs in mid-2001, production of this model ceased around 2006.)

・The nickel-plated Waverly tuners exhibit a subtle, natural patina—the aging process is so tasteful that it looks cool.
