The back contour has been deepened to fit more comfortably when holding the guitar, and the top contour (the part where the elbow rests) has been rounded to improve the fit against the arm.

The Slim C neck shape was adopted to accommodate a wide range of styles, from lead to backing, based on feedback from many players in Japan and the U.S. The "Standard Plus" has a 42mm neck, and the "Standard Plus" has a 42mm neck.
