Holton Tenor Bass Trombone TR150
Serial No. 618221 Tube weight 1677 grams (554 grams slide).
Gold brass 9" bell, lacquered, nickel slide, thick tenor bass trombone.
There is noticeable lacquer damage on the bell, but it does not interfere with playing and cannot be corrected, so it is being sold as is.
The instrument is in practical condition with considerable other signs of use such as scratches, lacquer peeling, rust, and lacquer stains due to age and normal use.
The gold brass bell, which has a high copper content, produces a nice, bright, soft sound.
Repairs: disassembly cleaning, water key cork replacement, balance adjustment, oil and grease re-lubrication
