The "Biwa Bass" style, known as the Eikichi Yazawa model.
The FERNANDES FYB-70 is an impressive model with a unique teardrop shape, commonly known as a "biwa bass.
This model was developed as a signature model for Eikichi Yazawa, and is known as a representative example of FERNANDES' early artist models.
The head features the "stone logo," as it is commonly known. This design was unique to FERNANDES at that time, and is a point that gives a sense of the background of the model.
The fat and honest sound of the passive configuration has a range similar to that of the JB series, and can be used for a wide range of rock and roll applications.
It has both a unique look and a story to tell as an artist model.
There are scratches, dents, dull parts, rust, and other signs of use.
The neck is slightly high and has been adjusted down on the saddle side.
If you play the high frets hard, you may feel a little chattering.
Generally, this is not a problem in normal playing.
