This is a "Made in Japan A" serial number, but it is not easy to determine the age of the Telecaster because the A serial number has been in circulation for a relatively long time and several variations of the bridge specification have been confirmed. This Telecaster has been in circulation for a relatively long time, and there are several variations in bridge specifications, etc. It is not easy to determine the age of the Telecaster, but based on the model number and specifications in the catalog, we have determined that it was most likely manufactured between 1986 and 1989.
This classic Telecaster is a faithful reproduction of the original 1952 Telecaster with high quality workmanship manufactured by Fujigen.
The 1986 catalog lists the body material as white ash, which is another unique feature of this model, as it is believed to have been changed from the traditional Sen wood to the heavier white ash similar to actual Fenders of the time.
The royal configuration of ash body, maple neck, and maple fingerboard gives it a vintage-like crisp tone that can be used for a wide range of playing styles, from cutting to leading.
There are scratches, dents, and peeling paint throughout.
Paint is peeling near the neck joint plate and there are paint chips near the end pins that can be seen through to the wood.
Metal parts are rusted and dulled with age.
The pickguard is lifted due to the 5-point pickguard.
There is no noticeable abnormality on the neck, and there are no problems with playing condition.
