Yamaha Maple Custom Snare with rich sound and outstanding response
The YAMAHA Maple Custom MSD-0106 is a snare drum with the warmth and core attack of a 7-ply maple shell. The die-cast aluminum hoop provides a tight and cohesive sound. It can be used for a wide range of music from rock and pop to jazz, and has a strong presence both on recordings and in live performances.
This is an early model in the series, and since it is a discontinued model, the number of copies in circulation is limited, so this is your chance to get the sound with presence that has been supported by professionals in the field.
Both sides of the head have been replaced (REMO 114BA/114SA), and the entire instrument has been cleaned.
There are some signs of use such as pits on metal parts and deterioration of plating.
The lugs, which are a concern for early models, are not floating and can be used without any problem.
