The KAWAI F-III has arrived. This guitar is a former high-end model featuring a through-neck construction, which has been upgraded with EMG pickups and lock pegs.
While retaining the long sustain and excellent response of the maple-mahogany through-neck construction, the sound has been transformed into the noise-free, well-defined tone characteristic of EMG pickups. The tight, wide-range tone is further enhanced, making it suitable for a wide range of styles from clean to high-gain.
The tuning pegs have been replaced with locking pegs, improving tuning stability and making string changes smoother. It offers modern ease of use in practical terms as well.
This guitar has been updated with a focus on playability while preserving its original character. It’s recommended for those seeking a guitar that transcends the “vintage” label and is ready to perform right out of the box.
The back panel appears to have been made later and does not fit perfectly.
There are signs of wear, such as scratches, dents, and discoloration or rust on some parts.
The neck is in good condition, and the instrument plays well.
