The LGB30, the flagship model of the George Benson Signature Series, carries on the philosophy of the higher-end LGB300 while delivering an authentic jazz sound at an affordable price point. The 2014 model features a full-hollow body with a spruce top and flamed maple back and sides, a three-piece mahogany/maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard, achieving both the rich resonance typical of a hollow-body guitar and a quick attack.

It is equipped with two classic Super 58 humbuckers. The warm, lustrous tone handles everything from chord work to single notes and octave playing, delivering the quintessential jazz sound.

It also leaves nothing to be desired in terms of aesthetics, featuring an ART-1 bridge, a dedicated trapeze tailpiece, and gold hardware. Another appealing feature is that it comes standard with flat-wound strings, allowing you to achieve a polished jazz tone the moment you pick it up.

There are signs of wear, such as minor scratches, dents, and some discoloration on parts.
Since the neck exhibits twisting, warping, and a raised edge, we have performed a full setup, including neck leveling. Currently, the frets are set slightly low, and there is a slight buzz on the higher frets; however, this is not noticeable when played through an amplifier.
