A model of the classic StingRay featuring an HS pickup configuration.

The "StingRay 3 EQ HS," manufactured in 2006, features a humbucker in the bridge position and a single-coil pickup in the neck position.

While preserving the classic StingRay sound, it offers a wide variety of tones thanks to its 5-way pickup selector. In addition to the punchy bass and sharp attack provided by the bridge humbucker, combining it with the front pickup allows for a wide range of sounds, from a rich, warm tone to a well-defined slap sound.

The body is made of ash, while the neck and fingerboard are maple, delivering a crisp attack and rich response. In addition to flexible sound shaping via the 3-band active EQ, the front single-coil pickup features a noise-reduction design that incorporates a dummy coil, balancing the characteristic single-coil sound with practicality. The HS layout is less common than the standard H configuration and is highly sought after on the used market.
The battery compartment and jack have been replaced due to corrosion.
There is peeling and lifting of the finish due to cracking around the bridge, controls, and joint plate.
There is a chip in the paint finish at the tip of the headstock.
The 1st string tuner makes a slight grinding noise when turning due to a reduction in internal grease, but this does not interfere with normal use, such as tuning.
There are scattered scratches and dents, and the instrument shows some signs of wear.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
