USED Yoshinobu Ohga / Yoshinobu Ohga Signature Sensation-1 #YOS 1007 [11]

A signature model by guitarist Yoshinobu Ohga, active with B'z and the band Sensation!
This is the miraculously arrived "Sensation-1," a special limited-edition model produced in an extremely small batch of just 10 guitars, designed to reflect the artist's ideal.
A meticulously crafted instrument developed over approximately three years from concept to completion. This is the seventh unit bearing the serial number "#YOS1007".

Based on the classic Stratocaster configuration of an ash body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard, it features Suhr pickups. The unique layout combines an SSV+ in the front position and V63 / V70 single-coils in the rear. The tone knob's push/push switch allows humbucker/single-coil switching, enabling the same front-single-coil-as-main setup favored by the artist himself.
While the unique pickup placement may resemble a humbucker configuration, it's actually designed to emphasize single-coil nuances, delivering a wide expressive range from clean cutting tones to driven sounds.

The tremolo unit features the Spanish-made Vega-Trem "VT1". It combines smooth arm action with excellent tuning stability, accommodating modern playing styles.

Reflecting the playing style honed by studio musician Yoshiharu Ohga, this guitar offers a well-balanced sound design, handling clean tones to distortion with equal skill. Due to its extremely limited production run, it's a rare guitar seldom encountered on the market.
The switch had been replaced, so we verified the wiring and output. While it functioned without issues, we replaced it with a genuine BOURNS switch as a precaution.
Due to resistors in the circuit, the tonal change upon switching is only slightly perceptible.
Some minor pick scratches and signs of use are visible, but there are no significant or noticeable scratches.
The neck shows no noticeable abnormalities and is in excellent playing condition.
