The Japanese-made Squier Silver Series Stratocaster "SST-36" has arrived!
Based on the "Made in Japan" label and serial number "E816019," this is believed to be a model produced by Fujigen between 1984 and 1987.
Unlike Squier guitars currently manufactured in China or Indonesia, this model is highly popular for its superior craftsmanship unique to Japanese-made instruments!
It features 1 volume, 2 tone controls, and a 5-way pickup selector.
You can feel the meticulous craftsmanship typical of Japanese-made instruments, making this a great choice not only for beginners but also, in recent years, for collectors and serious players!
Overall, it shows signs of wear appropriate for its age, including scratches, dents, and paint chipping.
Rust and tarnish are visible on the metal parts.
The pickup covers show sun fading and discoloration likely due to aging.
