An ambitious creation that combines a striking single-cut design with the classic Precision sound.
The SP4 from "dragonfly," a Japanese brand developed by HARRY’S ENGINEERING, features a unique body shape while remaining true to its roots. It is designed around the simple construction and straightforward sound characteristic of a Precision bass.

Although the body material is unknown, this model weighs approximately 3.68 kg, making it relatively lightweight for a bass. It offers excellent playability while still delivering a solid, resonant tone. The maple neck is paired with a rosewood-style fingerboard, ensuring stable playability.

It features a single P-type pickup and controls limited to volume and tone. Characterized by a thick, core-like midrange and powerful projection—free of unnecessary coloration—it delivers a sound with a strong presence even within a band ensemble.

The distinctive single-cutaway shape is more than just a design feature; it contributes to playability in the higher frets and body balance. The design successfully combines visual impact with practicality.
Overall, there are scratches, dents, metal rust, and discoloration, showing signs of use.
The neck shows signs of warping, with twisting and waviness. Due to the position of the neck joint, playing the high frets with force is likely to cause buzzing. Additionally, due to nut deterioration, playing the open first string with force produces a buzzing sound.
