Red Panda RADIUS is a ring modulator and frequency shifter featuring pitch tracking and advanced LFOs.
Designed with a new “8-quadrant multiplication” algorithm, it enables a smooth transition from ring modulation to frequency shifting, as well as different frequency ratios for upper and lower tones.
RADIUS can manipulate a wide range of sounds, including complex harmonic structures, truly “bell-like” tones, metallic textures, frequency shifts, soft tremolo, and bouncy phaser effects.

With pitch tracking, a footswitch, and picking dynamics, RADIUS is highly responsive and predictable on stage. When you play a note while holding down the left footswitch, the carrier oscillator tunes to that pitch.
Pitch tracking maintains the pitch ratio even when playing up or down the scale, or tracks the ratio to create dynamic sounds.
Using an expression pedal, you can freely control any combination of knobs.

RADIUS features an advanced LFO with triangle, square, and random waveforms, as well as an 8-step sequencer, all of which can be triggered by an envelope.
An envelope follower responds to the dynamics of your playing, and two “X” modulation waveforms offer a sweepable spectrum.

Controls and I/O are generously spaced and designed for ease of use.
RADIUS is ideal for sound design, synthesizing, and creative mixing.
It can also be controlled via MIDI, allowing you to sync to MIDI clock, sequence parameter changes, or play the carrier oscillator from a MIDI keyboard.
