USED BOSS / CE-2 Chorus [11]

The "CE-2" is a legendary pedal known as BOSS's first compact chorus pedal, released in 1979.
Building on the sound of the CE-1, this model was designed in a compact, user-friendly size and remains highly popular today as a staple among vintage chorus pedals.

This unit is a “Made in Japan” Black Label model. Based on its serial number, it is believed to have been manufactured around 1981. Its appeal lies in the warm, lustrous modulation unique to analog BBDs; it not only adds depth to clean tones but also creates a natural sense of spaciousness when used after a distorted sound.

Although the control layout is simple—featuring only RATE and DEPTH—it blends musically well at any setting, and its sound truly demonstrates why it has been favored by so many guitarists for so many years.
It shows some signs of use, such as minor scratches and dirt, but functions perfectly.
