A 1979 Tokai Stratocaster "ST50" has arrived!
Tokai’s signature vintage-style Stratocaster “Springy Sound” series.
It features SEN WOOD, a maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.
It incorporates details inspired by 1950s Stratocasters, such as a small headstock and round string guides.
With a look reminiscent of Fender guitars from that era, this guitar evokes the historical context characteristic of Japanese vintage instruments.
Overall, it shows signs of wear appropriate for its age, including scratches, dents, and paint cracks.
The metal parts show signs of aging, such as rust and tarnish.
There is a crack at the neck joint.
The pickups have likely been replaced. (While gray bobbins are typically installed, this particular guitar is equipped with black bobbins.)
Since the degree of discoloration varies by part, the pickup covers, control knobs, and switch knobs may have been replaced.
The pickguard has been replaced with a 3-ply type. (There are traces of re-drilled screw holes and additional screw holes.)
There is a slight chip on the nut.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
