The Kiko Loureiro Signature Model: Combining High-Speed Playability and Expressiveness

The EDWARDS E-KL-170 is a performance-oriented electric guitar designed as the signature model for Kiko Loureiro, the guitarist known for his work with Angra and Megadeth. Built with technical playing in mind, it delivers a high level of playability and projection.

By combining the stable tonal character of a maple top with an ebony fingerboard and scalloped frets, this guitar is designed to make it easy to control subtle nuances and high-speed phrases even with a light touch. It offers excellent playability in the higher frets and excels at lead playing.

Equipped with Seymour Duncan pickups, it delivers a well-separated sound even at high gain. It also features coil-tap functionality, allowing for a wide range of tones from clean to overdriven. Furthermore, the Floyd Rose-style tremolo system maintains stable tuning even during aggressive whammy bar use.

For technically oriented players, this is a highly refined signature model ready to perform right out of the box.
There are signs of wear, including scratches, dents, and some discoloration or rust on parts.
As the neck showed slight warping and the frets had some dents, we have performed a fret leveling.
There are no issues with the current playability.
