This is the ESF40 model from the Santa Fe Series, which stands out with a unique presence even within the Takamine lineup. Its eye-catching design features eagle inlays on the fingerboard and turquoise accents on the rosette, offering a striking look that really stands out on stage.In addition to the soft, warm tone produced by the cedar top and mahogany-based sides and back, this guitar is characterized by a sound that lends itself well to singer-songwriter performances and fingerstyle playing, making the most of its rich midrange. Another key feature is its easy-to-handle size, a hallmark of the NEX shape.

It is equipped with a GRAPH-EX Preamp, which was standard at the time, allowing for intuitive tone shaping via a slider-style graphic EQ while reliably delivering the practical line sound characteristic of Takamine. Believed to have been manufactured in the early 1990s, this electro-acoustic guitar combines distinctive aesthetics with practicality.
Numerous scratches from picking are visible on the top of the body. The finish on the top of the headstock has a cloudy appearance.
There is a crack in the finish near the neck heel. Additionally, there are signs of wear, such as scratches and dents.
As there was some slight string buzz, the frets have been refiled.
The saddle is set low, resulting in a setup with slightly high string action at present.
