USED C.F.Martin / D-41 SQ 1995 [12]

The Style-41 was born in 1969, and it is said that it was originally born out of a demand for a D-28 with D-45-like decorations, making it a relatively new model among Martin guitars. Now, the one we have in stock this time is made in 1995 and is in the 40s, which are rarely found used in recent years. It is a D-41, which is the easiest to aim for if you choose it as an actual instrument, and it is an SQ neck model. Usually, D-41 has scalloped bracing to differentiate it from D-28, but this one has non-scalloped bracing. Unlike the light atmosphere of the current model, it has a wild and body resonating sound like the 70's. Although it is an SQ neck, the sound tendency is clearly different from that of a D-28 of the same age, and it is definitely a 40's sound, not a heart image. The differences in the construction by skilled craftsmen and the selection of materials, etc., are very subtle, but they make a big difference. This is one of those vertical logo pieces that Martin fans will want to get their hands on someday, and as in the 70s, the price is rising every year. This is a great opportunity to get one.

The back of the neck and the head veneer have probably been oversprayed, and the paint has reacted to the head veneer from the volute area on the back of the neck. Also, a pickup has been retrofitted. In addition, there are some dents and minor scratches on the body. Although there are some signs of use overall, the burnt top and the sound are very good, and this is a must have.
