USED MUSIC MAN / SABRE II MOD 1979 Sunburst [12]

A 1979 SABRE II is now in stock.
This is a 1979 SABRE II, a mainstay model before Ernie Ball/Musicman.
The year of manufacture is determined from the neck & body date and pot date ('79 x 2, '78 x 1).

White ash body, one-piece maple neck with 22 frets, and 3-point neck joint like other Fender guitars of the same age.

The original hardtail design has been boldly replaced with a GRECO GO series bridge, and the body has been cavity-machined accordingly.

It is equipped with two original humbuckers and has a built-in active preamp.
Controls include a master volume, treble control, bass control, bright switch, and phase switch, allowing for a truly wide range of tones from sharp to powerful.
There are paint reactions around the body end, minor scratches and dings scattered throughout, and hardware is dull.
The battery snap has been replaced, a new battery box lid has been made out of aluminum, and the screw holes for mounting the battery box have been removed and the wood has been filled in.
The parts have been replaced by our affiliated repair shop and in-house repair center, and each part has been maintained and cleaned for good playability.
The original hard case is included, but there are many scratches, peeling of synthetic leather, stickers, and other signs of use.
