USED Fender / 1971 Stratocaster MOD Sunburst [12]

Vintage, 1971 Stratocaster is in stock.
The body and neck are from 1971, but the pickups have been replaced with 1974 pickups and all pots have been replaced with 1979 pots.
The capacitors have been replaced with Montreux Retrovibe Cap "F66" capacitors, which replicate the capacitors used on Stratos from 1964 to 1971.
The selector switch has been replaced and the jacks have been replaced with Japanese ones.
Some wiring has been added to improve the ground connection of each pot, but there may be a slight noise due to deterioration of metal parts.
The fretboard has been modified by a partner repair company, but the fretboard has been thinned, refretted with Jescar 55090 and re-nutted with oiled ox bone.
Although not fully original, it has been repaired and maintained with an emphasis on practicality as an instrument, and is ready to be played well into the future.

Shims have been added to adjust the neck stocking angle, and the octave springs for the 5th and 6th strings have been replaced.
There is a large scratch on the selector knob, but it does not affect the use of the instrument in its current condition. The truss rod is still loose and the neck is slightly warped, but there is no fretting or stuck sound.
There are weather checks, scratches, dings, and paint peeling throughout the instrument, but all parts have been maintained and are in good condition for playing.
The case for the mustang is included. The metal fixture in the center of the case is broken, but it is possible to store and transport the instrument.
