USED Gibson Custom Shop / Historic Collection 1958 Les Paul Standard VOS Left Hand 2014 Iced Tea Burst [12]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a left-handed 2024 Historic Collection 1958 Les Paul.
The body top is hand-selected maple by a Japanese dealer, and the face features understated figured maple and scattered flecks throughout.
Various updates have brought the 2013 version even closer to the original 50's specs, with more minor changes including a Custom Bucker, tubeless truss rod, long studs/anchors on the tailpiece, and an aniline-dye finish on the back. Aniline die-finish has been added, and the fretboard is now glued with nikawawa.
The weight is heavy at 4.07kg, but it is characterized by tight bass and extended, sustain-rich treble with good rise and sustain.
This is a perfect example of a real instrument and collection.

As is typical of historic collections of this age, there is some color transfer of aniline dye filler on the neck binding.
One of the control knobs was cracked and has been replaced.
The rear volume knob is slightly cracked, but this is not a problem in use.
There are some minor scratches and dulling of metal parts due to the VOS finish, but overall the guitar is in good condition with little signs of use.
The playability is also good as each part has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center.
